Prime Outdoor, L.L.C.Dedicated to Building Digital Outdoor Advertising Assets.
PersonnelRobert Woodlawn, was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida during the early 1980s, and developed a fascination with the West Coast of Florida's development during the 1990s and early 2000s before the market collapse. He commenced his career in Land Development with several medium-sized commercial real estate companies in Florida, Chicago, and Los Angeles, focusing on acquisitions. As he gained expertise in the commercial space, he encountered a transformative opportunity when acquiring a property with an attached billboard. Recognizing the potential, Woodlawn transitioned his focus to billboards in 2016, seeing it as the industry to be in. He embarked on developing billboards for various independent companies, engaging in ground-up leasing and acquiring existing billboards for refurbishment. Over the past eight years, Woodlawn and his team have constructed and reconstructed 65 billboards across the United States.Chris Jefferies began his career in ad sales with the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he canvassed door-to-door, reaching out to locals from Philadelphia to Bethlehem. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for sales and business development. The idea that a single phone call or face-to-face meeting could lead to a sale and generate revenue out of thin air fascinated him. Driven by this fascination, he delved into studying sales techniques and eventually transitioned into the tech industry, specializing in reselling Microsoft products, which proved to be extremely profitable. However, everything changed the day he encountered a salesman pitching billboard space.Upon meeting the Prime Outdoor team, he was offered a unique opportunity to spearhead their sales efforts on the East Coast. This marked a significant turning point in his career trajectory.Michael D'Angelo was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated with an MBA from Tufts University in 2009, just as the economy collapsed. Despite his prestigious degree, finding a job proved challenging, and the only available positions were with the government. He took a role in the zoning office in Buckhead, where he became deeply interested in studying ordinances and understanding how they could be interrupted. After four years in zoning, he realized the potential for greater earnings in the private sector, particularly in the billboard industry. Utilizing GIS technology and his knowledge of zoning codes nationwide, he could easily identify ideal billboard locations. This realization led him to Prime Outdoor, where he has been fortunate to build dozens of billboards in his first three years.
